Yes, as of 2025 the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) Annual Meeting and Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians (MAVT) Convention have merged to become the Annual Conference.

The 2027 Annual Conference brings together veterinary professionals from across the Upper Midwest for a four-day educational and networking experience open to veterinarians, veterinary technicians and assistants, practice managers, DVM and vet tech students, and all other veterinary professionals.

All educational sessions, exhibit hall, and most of the networking opportunities will take place at the Hilton Minneapolis. You can view directions here.

The Hilton Minneapolis is 2027 Annual Conference headquarter hotel and the location of all educational sessions and the exhibit hall. 

Rooms are available for a negotiated rate of $135+ applicable taxes and fees for single or double; $155+ applicable taxes and fees for a triple; and $175+ applicable taxes and fees for a quad rate. The room block is available until Friday, January 8, 2027 or until sold out!

All guestroom rates include complimentary self-parking for one vehicle per guest room in the underground 11th St Parking Ramp. Guests must exit ramp by 6 pm on departure date.

Additional Amenities Include:

• Complimentary wireless internet in guest sleeping rooms, hotel’s public spaces, and all common/meeting spaces
• Complimentary access to fitness center and indoor pool

Keep in mind that the Annual Conference is not just an educational event, but a networking event as well! Therefore, we recommend business casual attire. You also encourage you to dress in layers as meeting room temperatures vary.

Attendees pick up their name badges at the registration desk located on the 3rd floor at the Hilton Minneapolis.

Name badges are required for all Annual Conference functions including seminars, exhibit hall, and reception. Security personnel will allow only those with badges into the exhibit area or seminar rooms.

The Hilton Minneapolis provides complimentary wi-fi in common areas, such as meeting rooms and the concourses. This does not include the exhibit hall. Please be aware that speeds will vary based on the number of users at any given time.

Yes, a nursing mother’s room is available during the Annual Conference. A Suite furnished with a mini fridge, water, cleaning supplies and other necessities will be available. See the registration desk on the 3rd floor for a key.

The Hilton Minneapolis does have pet-friendly rooms for overnight guests.

In common areas, including the exhibit hall, we must obey the lawss, only service animals are permitted.

Attendees who need special assistance or services are asked to notify the MVMA office no later than January 15, 2027 and provide a written description of how we may accommodate you. We will contact you to confirm that your request has been received and go over any additional information needed. However, if you do not receive confirmation from MVMA by February 1, 2027, please contact us via email at info@mvma.org or call us at 651-645-7533.

Information regarding continuing education credits will be provided in the Program Book. Be certain to take one when checking in at the registration desk.
